성 베드로 수도원 마리아 카술리 원장 수녀님 귀하

귀 수도원의 마리아 세실리아 바이즈(1694~1766) 원장 수녀님의 저서 VITA INTERNA DI GESU CRISTO의 한국어 번역 [예수님 내면의 삶]의 발행에 이어서, 지난 2022년 8월15일 성모 승천대축일 · 대한민국 광복절 77주년 기념일에, 영어 번역 허가를 해 주심에 깊은감사를  드립니다.

한국어로 몇 번 글을 쓴 적이 있습니다만, 제가 성 베드로 수도원을 직접 방문하여 “한국어 번역 [예수님의 내면의 삶]을 귀 수녀원 1권 더 증정하고 싶고, 바티칸 교황청의 프란치스코 교황님께와 교황청 성직자부 장관 유흥식 추기경님께도 각 1부씩 증정하는 것을 대신해 주십시오.” 하는 것과 위  VITA INTERNA DI GESU CRISTO 도서의 훌륭한 영어 번역인를 추천(소개)해 받고 싶었습니다.

이번에 그리스도님의 인도하심을 따라 작은 형제회(프린치스코 ) 성지 대표부와 가톨릭신문 투어에서 11월11일부터 23일까지 시행하는 제61차 이탈리아 성지순례를 모두 같이 하되, 하루는 벌도로 시간을 내서 수녀원을 방문하기로 하였습니다.

이는 가톨릭신문 투어에서, 저의 부부와 함께 귀 수도원을 방문해 줄 현지 인솔자(안내인: 이탈리아어와 한국어 능숙한 사람으로)를 주선해 주기로 한 약속이 있었던 덕분입니다.

원장 수녀님을 직접 뵙고도 말씀드리겠습니다만, 1세기에 열두 제자, 바오로 사도 등에게 3년동안 말씀하시고 기록하게 한 것이 신약성경이라 한다면, 18세기에 더 오랜 기간 동안 마리아 세실리아 바이즈 원장 수녀에게 발현하시어 계시하고 기록하게 하신 말씀 VITA INTERNA DI GESU CRISTO 는 복음인 신신약성경이라 할 수 있으나, 이 지구상의 모든 아들과 딸들인 만민에게 복음이 널리 선포 전파 되지 못한 것은 이탈리아어(와 독일어)를 잘 알지 못하는 이 지구상의 대부분의 사람들이기에, 21세기인 지금도 이를 알지 못하여 읽고 기도할 수 없기 때문입니다.

2천년전의 1세기 복음인 신약성경도 세계 각 나라 말로 지금까지 번역이 않되어 읽지 않았다면, 돼지가 금이나 다이아몬드를 전연 모르는 것처럼 2쳔년이 지나도 복음인 신약성경을 전혀 모를 수 밖에 없었을 것입니다.

이를 매우 안타까이 생각하신 예수 그리스도님께서, 결혼 30주년 기념 미사를 서울 명동대성당에서 미사하고, 성당내의 서점을 찾았던, 평신도인 저에게 위 도서가 있음을 아내로부터 결혼 선물로 받은 [성 요셉의 생애] ( 이 책 역시 마리아 세실리아 바이즈 수녀님의 저서임을 알았습니다.) 란 도서에서 알게  하시고, 한국어로는 5년전부터 시작하여 금년 부활시기에 번역발행하게 하셨습니다. 그리하여 1권을 지난 7월에 자기나라 이탈리아로 여름 방학 휴가가는 한국어 번역인 루카 꽐리아토 교수를 통하여, 귀 수도원의 수녀님께 우편으로 보내드렸던 것입니다.

시작의 모두가 한국어와 영어 번역의 발행이라면,그 절반인 한국어의 번역 발행은 이제 끝났으며, 나머지 절반인 영어로의 번역 발행이 남았습니다.

수녀님 아시다시피, 한국어 번역은 한국어를 아는 국내외의 소수의 사람만이 읽을 수 있지만, 세계적인 공용어라 할 영어로의 번역은 영어를 아는 이 지구상의 모든 아들과 딸들인 다수가 읽을 수 있는 관계로, “영어로의 번역은, 이탈리아와 영어 그리고 예수 그리스도님을 포함한 삼위일체 하느님에 관해 아주 조예가 깊고 영성을 겸비한 최고최선 수준인  번역인이 번역을 하게 하여야 한다."고, 제가 영어 번역인 선정을 위한 오랜 기도 중에 예수님께서 자주 말씀하셔서, 우리 주 예수님 말씀에 순명하기 위해, 이미 두 번이나 아내와 직장 동료, 친구 친척들과 같이  이탈리아 순례를 하였지만, 어렵지만 이탈리아에 말도 전혀 통하지 않으시는 수녀님을 직접 찾아 뵙는 것이었습니다.

오늘 2022년 9월 20일이, 세계에서 남북으로 나라가 분리된 마직막 나라인 한국에서는, 성 김대건 안드레아 사제와 성 정하상 바오로와 동료 순교자 대축일입니다.

새벽 4시에 일어나 특별 지향의 기도를 올리고, 수녀님께 이 글을 쓰고 있는 중에 예수님께서 새로운 말씀을 하셨습니다. “ 어머니가 발현하시고 내가 발현하는 곳이라고 공식적으로 인정된 곳이 성지이다. 마리아 세실리아 바이즈 수녀에게 오랫동안 발현하고 나의 계시와 지시에 의하여 [예수님의 내면의 삶]과 [성 요셉의 생애]란 귀한 도서를 저술한 세실리아 수녀가 수도자로 평생을 살았던 성 베드로 수녀원을 이 세상에 널리 알리고 성지로 선포하게 알려라. 시복추진중인 이 수녀가 앞으로 성인 반열에도 오를 것이다. 이제부터 임마누엘이 구상하는 [ 예수님 21세기 세계 도서 선교전교사] 제안을 축복한다. 앞으로 세계 각지에서 고생하면서 수고하는 현장 선교사와 함께 [예수님 내면의 삶] 도서로써  [예수님 21세기 세계 도서 선교전교사] 들이 되어서 나의 복음을 온세상에 천하 만민에게 선포전파하여라.”

수녀님! 만나 뵐 때까지 다른 모든 수녀님들과 함께 건강하시고, 이탈리아를 순례하는 여러 단체와 개인들의 성지순례 중에서 제가 기톨릭신문 투어와 작은형제회(프란치스코회) 성지대표부의 이탈리아 성지순례에 참여하는 목적이 바로 이러하기 위함입니다. 저희를 열심히 성지 순례 시켜줄 가톨릭신문 투어와 작은 형제회 성지대표부 관계자와 이번에 같이 순례에 참가하는 모든 신도들을 위하여 기도드려 주세요. 같이 순례하는 부부 신도들에게는 기념으로, 순례여행을 마친후 한국에 돌아와서 [예수님 내면의 삶] 1권씩 증정할 생각입니다. 도서 값  수십배의 열심한 신도, 주님을 올바로 믿는 신도들이 될 것입니다. 아멘!         이돈희 임마누엘 드림

[영어 번역]

Following the publication of the Korean translation [The Inner Life of Jesus], the Korean translation of the book VITA INTERNA DI GESU CRISTO by Sister Maria Cecilia Baij(1694-1766), director of your monastery, August 15, 2022, the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin and the 77th Anniversary of Liberation Day in Korea On our anniversary, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to you for allowing us to translate into English.

I already wrote in Korean a few times, but I personally visited St. Peter's Monastery and said, “I read the Korean translation [Jesus’ Inner Life], one more copy of the Convent.

I would like to present it to you, and instead of presenting one copy each to Pope Francisco of the Vatican and to Cardinal Heung-sik Yoo, Minister of the Vatican.” I wanted to recommend (introduce) the excellent English translator of VITA INTERNA DI GESU CRISTO above.

This time , following the guidance of Christ, the 61st pilgrimage to Italy held from November 11 to 23 in the Small Brotherhood (Francisco) and the Catholic newspaper tour, but one day we will spare time to visit the convent.

This is thanks to the fact that a Catholic newspaper tour had promised with my wife and I to arrange a local guide (guide: fluent in Italian and Korean) to visit your monastery.

I will tell face to face seeing Sister in person, but if the New Testament was the one that told the twelve disciples and the apostle Paul and others for three years in the 1st century, and the New Testament was written, then in the 18th century, for a longer period of time, it would appear to Sister Maria Cecilia Baij. The Words Revealed and Written VITA INTERNA DI GESU CRISTO can be said to be the Gospel of the New New Testament, but the fact that the Gospel has not been widely proclaimed and spread to all sons and daughters on this earth is by people who do not know Italian (and German) well until 21th centry. Because most people on the planet do not know this and cannot read and pray.

If the New Testament, in 1cendtry  the gospel from 2,000 years ago, had not been translated into the languages of the world until now and had not been read, it would have been impossible to know the Gospel, the New Testament, at all, just like pigs do not know gold or diamonds at all.

Jesus Christ, who felt very sorry for this , had a Mass at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul to celebrate the 30th anniversary of my  marriage, and was given the above book as a wedding gift from my wife, who was a layman who visited the bookstore in the cathedral [Life of St. Joseph] (I learned that this book was also written by Sister Maria Cecilia Baij.)

Translated in the Korean language, it started five years ago, and it was translated and published during the resurrection period of this year. So, last July, I sent the first volume to his country, Italy, for the summer  vacation, through the Korean translator, Professor Luca Quagliato, to the nun of your monastery.

The beginning is the publication of Korean and English translations, half of the translation into Korean is now over, and the other half, the publication of translations into English, remains.

Sister , as you know, Korean translation can only be read by a small number of people at home and abroad who know Korean, but translation into English, the universal language, can be read by many of all sons and daughters on this earth who know English.” During my long prayers for the selection of an English translator, the translation into English should be done by a translator who is very knowledgeable and spiritual in Italian and English and the Triune God including Jesus Christ. In order to obey the words of our Lord Jesus as Jesus spoke often. I had already made this pilgrimage to Italy twice with my wife, co-workers, friends and relatives. It was difficult, but I was visiting a nun who did not speak Italian at all. I did.

 Today is September 20, 2022 in Korea, the last country in the world to seperate the country  from  south to north, it is a great celebration  of St. Father Kim Dae- gun and St  Jung Ha-sang and fellow martyrs.

Woken up at 4a.m, having a special prayer, and while I was writing this letter to the head nun, Jesus spoke new words to me. “The place where my mother appears and is officially recognized as the place where I appear is the Holy Land. The convent of St. Peter, where Sister Cecilia, who has appeared to Sister Maria Cecilia Baij for a long time and wrote the precious books [The Inner Life of Jesus] and [The Life of St. Joseph] by my revelation and direction, was widely known to the world as a holy place, announce it as This nun, who is pursuing beatification , will rise to the ranks of saint  in the future. From now on, I bless the proposal of [Jesus 21st Century World Missionary Missionary Teacher] conceived by Immanuel. From now on, you  will become a [Jesus 21st Century World Missionary Missionary Teacher] together with field missionaries who are struggling and toil in all parts of the world and spread my gospel to the whole world by the  book [The Inner Life of Jesus].   Proclaim and spread the word to all people.”

Nun ! Until we meet, stay healthy with all the other nuns, and among the pilgrimages of various groups and individuals pilgrimage to Italy, the purpose of my participation in the Catholic Newspaper Tour and  the Small Brotherhood (Francisco) pilgrimage to Italy is for this purpose. no see. Please pray for the Catholic newspaper tour, which will make us diligently pilgrimage to the Holy Land, the officials of the Holy Land Representative of the Small Brotherhood, and all the believers participating in the pilgrimage together this time. As a commemoration for the couple who are pilgrims together, I plan to give away one [The Inner Life of Jesus]   when they return to Korea after the pilgrimage.
